Lofer has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The Almbahnen I and II cable cars will whisk you up to the LofererAlm, the starting point to many hiking and biking trails with breathtaking mountain views. There are also beautiful lakes and waterfalls to explore. There is plenty to do for all the family with a playground to explore and also a forest walk and petting zoo at the middle station. There are plenty of mountain restaurants in which to enjoy some traditional Austrian food.
